Smithsonian’s “Art of Video Games” Exhibit Going on Tour | Side Mission | GameTrailers August 10, 2012

The Smithsonian Institute’s interactive tribute to the pixelated arts could be coming to a city near you this fall.”The Art of Video Games” is going on a 10-city tour starting on Oct. 24, according to the exhibit’s website.

The interactive exhibit will make scheduled stops in cities located in Washington, Arizona, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. The tour will run through Jan. 25, 2016.

The Smithsonian’s exhibit looks at the history of gaming from the Atari VCS to the PS3 with playable demos and art galleries of 80 new and classic titles. It also includes video interviews with such notable names as Nolan Bushnell, David Cage, Ken Levine and Tommy Tallarico.
